Brad’s parents bought tickets for us to go to the BYU football game last night so we took Kyle to his first football game!  He did surprisingly well, I think.  Between begging hawaiian ice off of the lady sitting next to us, climbing down to the empty seat in front of us, and digging around in Tracy’s purse so he could smear lipstick all over his cheeks, he made it right up to the last 10 minutes of the game!  He probably could have made it to the end, but Brad and I were done.  Go Cougars!

The Case for Turkey

What do you do when a trip to Poland falls through?  Plan a trip to Croatia instead of course!  But what do you do when you find out you can go to Turkey for $800 less in airfare and $100-$200 less per night for a hotel? 

So Brad told me I can’t say we’re going to Turkey next May. Instead I’m supposed to say “we’re thinking about going to Turkey”, at least until next week when his bonus is deposited into our checking account and I can make it official by purchasing our plane tickets.

Most of the people we’ve told so far who don’t know about my uncanny knack for planning awesome trips all ask “why Turkey?”  So I’ve created a great picasa folder with my projected itinerary.  Enjoy the wonder that is Turkey!

We went up to Snowbird with Karon and Ashlyn yesterday!  We took the aerial tram up to the top of Hidden peak and walked down to the Peruvian Express Chairlift for our ride back down.  We also got to explore the ski tunnel they just completed.  It was so beautiful and nice cool weather.  We have the best times with Karon and Ashlyn!
