Night of the Running Dead

October 10, 2010

Yeah, that’s the name of our first 5k!

Brad was a Zombie.

Tiff was a Survivor.

And it was pretty much a stupid hard 5k for first-timers.

Brad says, “I don’t know, I just know there were death hills.”

Tiff says, “I think we went half way up the mountain…at least a third.”

Next door neighbor Brandon (who is a crazy awesome runner) says, “This was one of the top 2 hardest 5ks I’ve done in my life!”

Maybe we’ll perform better on a more reasonable course.

Here’s our October 2010 Album

September 2010 Album

And August 2010 Album

  1. gross

  2. gross, and, i never would have thunk in a million years that keck would have run a 5k. too bad we never wagered on it; keck could be $5 richer, although I bet the 5k cost more than that. What’s the deal with that?

  3. What’s the deal with what? 5ks costing money? Well, I’ve recently come to learn that pretty much all 5ks are in benefit of some charity or another. This one was for the Huntsman Cancer Society. Seems a bit random; but that’s just the way things are.

  4. I am proud of you both for running. I love the zombie look. The hair is crazy. do you have more pictures?

  5. Oh and now I see all the other pictures! I love them. I can’t wait to see you all in person.

  6. Way to go running a 5K guys! Sad that it was so crazy. Although did you run in jean shorts? That is almost crazier. 🙂

  7. you should have joined us in the byu 5k! Or the saratoga springs 5k to raise money for the library…much easier courses!!
Even though my course was easy…I almost died.

  8. Jean shorts are cozy for running!
