Reports of a Party Have Been Greatly Exaggerated
April 19, 2007So, we’ve been telling many people this past week that we plan to have a “Yay, we have a new house party” this Saturday. As it turns out, that will probably not be the case. It just seems that a lot of the people we had hoped would come won’t be able to, and a lot of the people who we think could come have already seen the house. We are scared it will be a big flop if we go ahead and have it. We would likely just postpone until the NEXT weekend or something like that.
So, that’s the story. Your only hope now is to tell us otherwise. If 17 people all say they are just DYING to come over this weekend, perhaps we’ll still do it. That is all.
I was dying to come, but I guess now I won’t.

by Brad April 19, 2007 at 10:13 amDying! Maybe we will come anyway!
by Nada April 19, 2007 at 11:31 amHey I wasn’t ever invited to the now non-existent party. Meanies.
by Tracy April 19, 2007 at 11:37 amOh Tracy, you would have been invited.
by Brad April 19, 2007 at 1:22 pm(In fact, if we were still having the party, this post would have been an invitation to the party, rather than notification of its non-existance.)
by Brad April 19, 2007 at 1:22 pmWill you have your Wii setup by next week? 🙂
by Pace April 20, 2007 at 1:55 pmPossibly… pig.
by Brad April 20, 2007 at 1:58 pmHappy anniversary to Brad and Tiffany! Have a wonderful day.
by Melissa April 23, 2007 at 12:26 pmThanks Mom. 🙂
by Brad April 23, 2007 at 1:29 pmWow Brad why the hatred (name-calling) toward my husband lately? Are you PMSing or something?
by Joy April 23, 2007 at 8:34 pmSorry, “possibly… pig” is a quote from the Princess Bride and at work I’ve gotten in the habit of saying it everytime I say “possibly”.
by Brad April 24, 2007 at 7:19 amI guess the quote is actually “It’s possible, pig”, but that’s what we say at work.
